We have been playing volleyball in Worthing for 30 years.
Yes, since 1993. Yes, some of us are actually old (but not in spirit!).
There is no right time or age to start to play. If you feel like it, you are ready to join us.
Have you played before but want to play again? Welcome to the club too.
You do not actually have to play in the team. Worthing Volleyball Club has weekly practices and social mix (fun!) games too.
If you wish to join our Tuesday adult training, we have Women's training from 6pm till 8pm and Men's from 7.30 until 9.30pm - the middle half an hour overlap is Social "King of the Court" games. We usually train at Worthing High School on South Farm Road (find more info here).
If you want to play for one of our teams, we have men's and women's teams in the Sussex Volleyball League.
Our home matches are played on Sunday evenings at 6pm and 8pm at Worthing High School. Away matches can be on different days and times within Sussex.
Being part of a team also brings the expectation that you help out with other matches: scoring, refereeing, setting up and tidying away.
We will happily teach you to want you to need to know.
Meanwhile, meet our Adult teams.
